Tea Time

i have effectively made the switch from coffee to tea!

my favorites lean towards irish breakfast and lady grey teas.

with some milk.

i'm also (don't laugh) teaching myself to cook korean food. i had a revelation the last time i visited my friend at her house and she didn't even know how to make coffee! she's already entertained me with some funny stories about how her father-in-law expects her to cook dinner for him etc ... but as if! she's seen the butt end of a rice cooker.

either way, i'm enjoying it. korean food isn't as hard as you might think. as long as you have enough garlic, spring onion, and red pepper paste on hand, everything's a go. and especially since i LOVE LOVE LOVE spicy food, it's a skill that's definitely worth learning.

nikki says that these days in korea, men do all the cooking but i'm not so sure. cooking to impress someone during your regular courtship ritual? ... sure. but after marriage after a hard day's work and a couple screaming kids ...

i wouldn't even volunteer for that.

that's what ordering out's for.
