dc ... to chicago, ... then new york city, ... and now ...

possibly-just-maybe-but-don't-hold-your-breath philadelphia?

i am more than likely heading up to upenn next month for my ph.d interviews.

and if all goes well, a very long overdue much needed vacation/teaching stint in korea.

but not before i head down to atlanta for a wedding. and la/san francisco for some fun in the sun with friends (matthew, i will come before you graduate!).

i'm still recovering from just getting back from nyc. well ... who am i kidding. i forgot i was even there.

just the other day i heard someone mention the chicago river (and i had no clue what they were referring to) and the hudson (as in henry hudson?) in one sentence before i snapped myself back to reality and realized that what i should've been experiencing were waves of nostalgia (no to both).

but it wasn't until just last night when my brother mentioned cheesesteaks and the liberty bell before i started jumping up and down screaming, "THAT'S IN PHILADELPHIA!".

which may very well be a good sign.

wish me luck.

cross my fingers and hope to die.

maybe i was never meant for the west coast after all.
