Girl Talk

lovely lovely just spending time with the girls~

i know i've been cutting people off lately ... well, with all that's going on.

hannah and i drove down towards reston for dinner with helen and her husband. we had coffee back at her house and it felt so good to just sit around and really talk. helen's husband just recently turned 30 and we all laughed about still being in our roaring twenties but getting older.

i'm noticing more and more how much fun and pleasant it is to have intimate get-togethers with my close friends. good food and wine, music, and funny stories. we looked through helen's pictures from her trip to vegas and mexico vacation, debated on the elements of style on korean weddings, and mulled over the direction of maryland and virginia real estate.

and then on the ride back, hannah and i talked about our relationships (pitfalls, wonders, et. al) and family (pitfalls, wonders, et. al).

it's just getting to be that time again. feeling mature and yet so complacent.

when even though you know life has so much more to offer but you're just willing to accept the days as they come.

for me, a change of scenery means close to nothing. after having lived in dc, chicago, and nyc ... cities all start to look the same.

but korea in summer? ... please call me~
